`
`DETAILED ACTION
`
`Notice of Pre-AlA or AIA Status
`
`The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined
`
`under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA.
`
`Response to Amendment
`
`The Applicant's amendment, filed 06/12/2020, has been received, entered into
`
`the record, respectfully and fully considered.
`
`By this amendment, claims 1, 4, 6 and 9-15 have been amended. Claims 16-
`
`19 are newly addedclaims. Thus, claims 1 and 4-19 have been examined.
`
`Any objection, claim interpretation and claim rejection not repeated below is
`
`withdrawn due to Applicant's amendments.
`
`Response to Arguments
`
`Applicant's argumentsfiled 06/12/2020 have been fully considered and have
`
`been addressed as follows. Applicant's arguments include portions “a” and “b,” each
`
`being recited below and respondedbriefly.
`
`a. Applicant argued on page9 of the remarks:
`
`The payload header of Hwang is part of the payload and received together
`with the payload. Hwang does not disclose or suggest thal the number of
`
`the first packets and the number of the second packets is received before
`receiving the first packets and the second packets themselves.
`
`

`

`
`Page 3
`
`in response to Apolicant’s Argument “a,” Examiner respectiully disagree and
`
`would like to point out that Hwang reference teaches (/0042), notifying a size of data
`
`before padding data is included through Application Layer FEC (AL-FEC) signaling
`
`information.
`
`b. The Applicant argues on page 11 of the remarks:
`
`Hwang does not disclose that the Ist FEC symbois use a different errar
`detection scheme than the ist Parity Syrnbols. Hwang is silent on the
`ullization of diferent error detection schemes for the 1° FEC symbols and
`the Ist Parity Symbols. Hwang does not disclose that an error detection
`code far an informalion word symbol (included in a packet al a border
`between first packets that include the information ward symbol and
`second packets that include the parity symbol} being based on a different
`than the parily symbol
`
`In response to Applicant’s Argument “b,” Examiner respectiully disagree and
`
`would like to point out that Hwang reference teaches, Fig.10, 1st FEC symbols, 1st
`
`Parity Symbols. Examiner notes that FEC and Parity are different error detection
`
`scheme.
