`Applicant submits herewith this statement of substance of interview conducted January 11,
`
`2022.
`
`During the interview, applicant’s amendments and remarks filed December 28, 2021 were
`
`discussed, including clarification of certain limitations of the amended claimsandthe distinctions
`
`between amended claim 1 andthe relied upon disclosures per Fig. 2B of Suzuki. Specifically, the
`
`Examinernoted that having “a gap” between cells and an exterior body of an electrode assembly,
`
`the aspects of previously presented claim 8 now incorporated into amendedclaim 1, would still be
`
`met by Suzuki likely in combination with a new reference, indicating a possible §103 rejection.
`
`Asto the other aspects, the Examiner requested applicant review the disclosures of the current
`
`application in relation to the claim amendments.
`
`In regard to claim 10, the meaning of the terms
`
`“a second direction” and “gap” and how these aspects were provided for within the application
`
`were clarified by pointing to Fig.
`
`1 and paragraph [0022] of the specification as filed. The
`
