`
`QNB indicatesto the target gNB at least one configured BWP for the UE at
`
`the source gNB {second bandwidth part}, at least one activated BWP for
`
`the UE at the source gNB {first bandwidth part}, and “at least one candidate
`
`BWPto whichthe UEis to be handed over’. The target gNB, in turns,
`
`configures at least one BWP for the UE corresponding to the indicated “at
`
`least one candidate BWPto whichthe UEis to be handed over’. The at

`of the claimed invention, it would have been obvious for one ordinarily skilled in
`
`the art to modify the invention of Jin with Futaki by adding to source gNB the
`
`method of providing to the target gNB indication of two or more candidate BWPs
`
`to which the UE is to be handed over and adding to the target gNB the method of
`
`configuring for the UE two or more BWPs comprises a first bandwidth part and a
`
`second bandwidth part corresponding to the two or more candidate BWPs where
`
`the first bandwidth part is replacedbythe first active BWAP of Jin. The
`
`motivation to combine Jin and Futaki is to configure a same number of BWPsfor
`
`a UE at the target gNB as that configured for the UE at the source gNB to
`
`prevent service disruption due to insufficient bandwidth parts at the target gNB.

`performing a handover procedure of a mobile terminal in a mobile communication

`specifically teach the target gNB configuresafirst bandwidth part and a second

`bandwidth part for the UE, the handover request message including information

`regarding the capability of the mobile terminal to communicate over at least the
`
`first bandwidth part and second bandwidth part, the handover request

`acknowledge message includesinformation regarding the configured atleastfirst

`bandwidth part and second bandwidth part. Futaki discloses the target gNB

`
`BWPsto which the UE is to be handed over, adding to the target gNB the
`
`method of configuring for the UE two or more BWPscomprisingafirst bandwidth
`
`part and a second bandwidth part corresponding to the two or more candidate
`
`BWPs, and adding to the target gNB the methodof including in the handover
`
`request ACK message the two or more BWPsconfigured by the target gBN for
`
`the UE comprising the first bandwidth part and the second bandwidth part where
`
`the first bandwidth part is replacedbythe first active BWAP of Jin. The
`
`motivation to combine Jin and Futaki is to use the configuration at the source
`
`gNB to configure a same number of BWPsfor a UE at the target gNB asthat
`
`configured for the UE at the source gNB to prevent service disruption in a
`
`handover due to insufficient bandwidth parts at the target gNB.
