`

`Referring to Figure 2, the electrode assembly (212) according to the present inventionis
`formed inchiding the anade plate (213), and the negative plate (215), the separator (214),
`the cathode rab (216! and cathede tab (217),
`
`While the separator (214) is mserted between the anode plate (213) and negative plate (215)
`the electrade assembly (212) is reeled and ir is formed. The either side the anode active
`material layer in which the anode place (213) includes the fithnim oxide on the surface ofthe
`
`anode collector formed with the metal of the thin filmis coated with the prescribed thickness
`
`may be provided with the anode uncoated area in which the anode active material layer is not

`including carbon is not coated. In one side of the cathode uncoated area, the cathode tab (2173
`
`a commected elecerically and mt is protruded te the upper portion of the electrade assembly
`(212),
`
`The bent partion (219) which the bend guide serves se that the cathade tab (217) is curved
`in the fixed position in the certain position is formed at the cathode rab (217). The benr
`portion (219) may be formedat the various shapes the location from which the cathode tab
`(217) it can be formed is curved. Generally, the burglar is weak since the cathode tab (317) ts
`
`formed with the sheet metal of about 0.1mm. Therefore, it is necessary to minimize that the
`intensity of the cathode tab (217) is degraded with the bent partion (219) andit is desirable
`
`to form into the proper size according to the farmed shape.
`
`It is formed im bothsides of the location from which the bent portion (2194), is the cathode
`tab (217) with reference to the embodiment 1, of fig. 3 is curved inte the groove. Here the
`shape is not hmited while the bent portion (2192) can be formed with the triangle or the
`hemispherical groove, Moreover, since the guide role is se that the cathade tab (217) ts curved
`in the certain position the benr portion (219a} is formed with the proper size. Preferably, the

`of figures 7a and 7b is curved ts curved andthe line is formed. Therefore, the other side of the
`cathode tab (217} maybe provided with the protrusion part. The preferably the bent portion
`(219) is formed with the width and the same length of the cathode tab (217) while the length
`is formed with at least 50% of the cathode tab (217) width. Since it is pressed to the fixed
`width and the bent portion (219e} is formed the depthis not deep. Therefore, if the length of
`
`

`

`the bent portion (21%) is formed over at least 50% of the cathode tab (217) width then it
`
`serves of the bend guide.
`
`Descontinucus and formed at least 2 prescription roads are formed with the groove with
`
`reference to the embediment 6 of fig. 8 accordingta the Hine in which the cathode tab (217)
`is curved, As shown in Figure 7a, the groove of the bent portion (219f) can be formed by
