`This matter is before the Court on the Direct Purchaser Class’s Motion for Distribution of
`
`Residual Unclaimed Settlement Funds from Rounds One through Four for Distribution with Round
`
`Five Settlement Funds. MDL ECF No. 1970. The Direct Purchaser Class now seeks to allocate the
`
`unclaimed funds from the prior rounds of settlement for distribution with the Fifth Round
`
`Settlement Funds.
`
`On January 10, 2023, the Court finally approved the Direct Purchaser Class’s Fifth Round
`
`of Settlements. MDL ECF No. 1845. The Court has previously granted final approval of and
`
`authorized distribution of four prior rounds of settlements reached by the Direct Purchaser Class
`
`and defendants. ECF No. 1455; MDL ECF Nos. 98, 492, 1340. Distribution of settlement funds for
`
`the prior four rounds of settlement is completed. While participation rate has been high among
`
`class members, there currently remains $136,910.45 (approximately 0.03% of the total settlement
`
`funds distributed) in unclaimed funds from the prior four rounds of settlement.
`
`The Court finds that class counsel and the claims administrator’s efforts to identify class
`
`members are reasonable and sufficient, and that unclaimed settlement funds remain after
`
`distribution of the prior four rounds of settlement has been completed. The Court further finds, in
`
`light of the small amount of unclaimed settlement funds and the cost of administering a further
`
`round of distribution, that a follow up round-by-round distribution would be costly, impractical and
`
`inefficient. Further, the Court finds the plan of distribution as described in the Class’s Motion for
`
`Distribution of Residual Unclaimed Settlement Funds from Rounds One through Four for
`
`Distribution with Round Five Settlement Funds is, in all respects fair, adequate, and reasonable.

`
`A redistribution of unclaimed settlement funds with the Fifth Round settlement fund will
`
`serve the interests of the class members and be in line with the statutory scheme.

`The Court authorizes the pro rata distribution of all unclaimed funds from the prior four
`
`rounds of settlement to be distributed with the Fifth Round Settlement Funds to settlement class
`
`members who submitted valid claims based on valid purchases of capacitors consistent with class
`
`counsel’s pending motion seeking authorization to distribute the Fifth Round settlement funds.
`
`IT IS SO ORDERED.
