`
`Mr. Cochran:
`I write in response to your letter to Ford Motor Company concerning the auto parts class action
`settlements. Unfortunately, Ford is not able to provide the information you have requested. Trying to
`identify the parts subject to the settlement agreement that were installed in the vehicles purchased by
`your clients would be unduly burdensome, and Ford has similarly objected to producing such
`information in response to a subpoena served on Ford and other OEMs in the auto parts MDL.
`Regards,
`Sarah

`
`Thanks for your quick response. At yesterday's fairness hearing in the End-Payor settlements, class counsel
`represented that the parties will soon come out with a way to match parts and vehicles. Do you know anything about
`that?

`
`Mr. Cochran:
`
`No, we do not know anything about the parties’ proposed methodology for matching parts and
`vehicles.
