`codes, Nd indicating a Doppler cycle count, Nca indicating a coherent addition count and being

`an integral multiple of Ncp, Nbc and Ncp each being an integer greater than or equal to 2, Nsc

`being an integer greater than or equal to 2, Nca being an integer greater than or equal to 2 and
`
`less than Nsc, and Nd being an integer greater than or equal to Nbc, and

`a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the selected Nd different
`
`complementary groups by switching to a different one of the Nd different complementary groups
