`The Office Action acknowledged Applicant’s claim for foreign priority, but contended

`that a certified copy of the priority document (JP2015-007167) has not been filed. See page 2 of
`
`the Office Action.

`Applicant respectfully submits that the United States Patent and Trademark Office

`(USPTO) should be obtaining the priority document from the Japan Patent Office (JPO). See
`
`MPEP 215.01.

`Title
`
`The title of the application was objected to as not being descriptive. The title is amended
`
`to account for this objection. Applicant respectfully inVites the Examiner’s suggestion for a title
`
`if the amended title is not considered suitable.

`Claim Rejections - 35 U.S.C. § 103
`
`Claims 1-6 were rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Takizawa et
`
`al. (US. Patent No. 5,739,596) in View of Harada et al. (US. Patent No. 6,031,356). Applicant
`
`respectfully traverses this rejection.
`
`The electronic deVice of claim 1 includes a first switch, a second switch, a latch
`
`opening/closing detector, and a power controller. When the latch opening/closing detector detects
`
`opening of at least one of the first latch and the second latch, the power controller is configured
`
`to control the second switch so that the built-in battery is capable of supplying power to the
`
`electronic deVice, and controls the first switch so that power is supplied to the electronic deVice
`
`from one of the first battery and the second battery that can supply power based on a detection
`
`result of the battery remaining amount detector.
