`Date of Interview: 03 November 2022
`
`Issues Discussed:
`
`35 U.S.C. 103
`
`Discussed the combination of Hu (US 8,896,110) and Murakami (US 2020/0024496) references.
`Applicant states that the Hu reference requires curing, whereas the Murakami does not require any
`curing. In the Non-final action dated 9/2/22, the Examiner proposed substituting the Thermal Interface
`Material (TIM) of Murakami reference for that of the Hu reference. Therefore when substituting TIM of
`Murakamifor that the Hu the substituted TIM of Murakami including the method that TIM is applied is
`applicable (which doesnotinclude curing).
`
`However the thicknessofthe film 14 of the instant application (100 micrometer compressed to 50
`micrometer, see para. [0016)]) is different from the Murakami (100 nanometer to 15 micrometer, see
`abstract) and heat conductive material 15 of the instant application (2 micrometer, see para. [0018])
`compared to Murakami (between 0.1 micrometer to 20 micrometer, see para. [0054])
