(Currently Amended) A wireless communication device, comprising: a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) generation circuitry, which in operation, generates a PPDU including a legacy preamble, a legacy header, a non-legacy header and a data field, and a transmission circuitry, which in operation, transmits the PPDU, wherein: the transmission circuitry includes an encoding circuitry, and the encoding circuitry, in operation, performs error correction coding on the PPDU by encoding the legacy header and the non-legacy header jgggegeraggintoa first codeword, the non-legacy header in the first codeword including a field indicating a channel bandwidth.
(Previously Presented) The wireless communication device according to Claim 1, wherein the non-legacy header includes identification information, and wherein the identification information indicates that the non-legacy header is included in the generated PPDU and is format identification information included in a top portion of the non-legacy header.
(Previously Presented) The wireless communication device according to Claim 2, wherein the format identification information and the field indicating the channel bandwidth are individually described in the non-legacy header.
(Previously Presented) The wireless communication device according to Claim 2, wherein the format identification information and the field indicating the channel bandwidth are jointly described in a single field in the non-legacy header.
(Previously Presented) The wireless communication device according to Claim 1, wherein the transmission circuitry includes: a modulation circuitry, which in operation, maps the encoded legacy header and the encoded non-legacy header to the same constellation.
