`Notice is hereby given that the above-identified registration will be canceled by the Com-
`missioner at the end of the ‘sixth year following the date of registration or publ.ication
`under section 12 (C), as the case may be, unless the owner files in the Patent Office the
`affidavit or declaration of use or excusable nonuse required by section 8 of the Trademark
`Act of 1946. For registrations. issued after October 25, 1965 a fee of $10 for each class
`must accompany affidavit or declaration.
`
`The affidavit or declaration must state that the registered mark is still in use, specifying
`the nature of such use, and there must be submitted a specimen, facsimile or other evi-
`dence showing the mark-as currently used, or if the mark is not actually being used, re-
`cite sufficient facts to show that nonuse of the mark is due to special circumstances
`which excuse "such nonuse and is not due to any intention to abandon the mark.
